Dr. Paul-Otto Faßbender reappointed Chairman of the Board Management for another five-year term

The Supervisory Board of ARAG Allgemeine Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG has reappointed Dr. Paul-Otto Faßbender (63) to another five-year term as Chairman of the Board of Management effective 4 July 2010. Dr. Faßbender has headed the Düsseldorf-based firm since 16 February 2000. By extending his appointment, the Supervisory Board emphasizes the importance of continuity in the management of the ARAG Group.

ARAG Allgemeine Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG is responsible for the strategic management of the ARAG Group and its operational subsidiaries and directs the Group’s national and international legal insurance business.

Dr. Paul-Otto Faßbender is the majority shareholder in the family enterprise. ARAG is the largest family-owned insurance company in Germany.
