David Murray appointed President and CEO of ARAG North America

Effective 17 February 2011, David Murray (43) has been appointed President and CEO of ARAG North America, based in Des Moines, Iowa. He succeeds Cameron Sutton, who recently retired.

“David is an exceptional leader at ARAG North America,” says Dr. Johannes Kathan, Member of the Board of Management of the ARAG Group responsible for International Operations. “His extensive experience combined with his character and integrity make him an extraordinary business leader for our growth efforts in the U.S. And most importantly for anyone taking on a CEO role at ARAG, David is a natural fit with our corporate culture.”

With 20 years of service at ARAG, Murray most recently served as Chief Financial, Operations and Information Technology Officer with responsibility for corporate finance, operations and IT processes. A native of Iowa, David Murray earned a Master’s Degree of Business Administration (MBA) from Drake University in Des Moines. He is a member of the Central Iowa Private Enterprise CFO Forum.
