Changes on the Management Board of ARAG Allgemeine and Interlloyd

Uwe Grünewald and Dr. Werenfried Wendler are new Board Members

Uwe Grünewald (50) has been appointed by the Supervisory Board to the Management Board of ARAG Allgemeine Versicherungs-AG and Interlloyd Versicherungs-AG and will take over the department currently headed by Wolfgang Mathmann (51) effective 15 April 2019. Wolfgang Mathmann will move over to the Group Management Board of ARAG SE at that time. Dr. Werenfried Wendler (60) was appointed as an additional, third Member of the Management Board of ARAG Allgemeine and Interlloyd as of 1 January 2019.

Uwe Grünewald joined the ARAG Group in Düsseldorf in 2013 and has since headed the Group Accounting/Taxes Central Department. As of mid-April 2019, he will also assume responsbility for the Board-level Risk Management/Controlling/Finance and Accounting Department at ARAG Allgemeine and Interlloyd.

Dr. Werenfried Wendler joined the ARAG Group in 2002 and has since headed the Human Resources Central Department. He has also served on the Management Board of ARAG Krankenversicherungs-AG since 2008 and is now responsible for the Human Resources Department. The same Board-level Department has also been newly established at ARAG Allgemeine and Interlloyd. The Supervisory Board appointed Dr. Werenfried Wendler to the Management Board effective 1 January 2019. He will continue to exercise his current management responsibilities as well.

Uwe Grünewald and Dr. Werenfried Wendler now belong to the three-member Management Board along with Christian Vogée (53). Christian Vogée will continue to head the Sales/Operations/Claims/Sports Insurance Department at ARAG Allgemeine and Interlloyd, for which he is currently responsible.
