ARAG UK is an intermediary covering the entire value chain – from product development and sales to marketing and underwriting. Policies are underwritten by HDI Global Specialty SE, Amtrust Europe and ARAG Allgemeine Versicherungs-AG.

Growth and development
With its innovative range of Before the Event (BTE) and After the Event (ATE) legal insurance and emergency assistance products and services, ARAG plc focuses on providing exceptional customer service. It currently has Gross Written Premium (GWP) under management of 60 million Euro.

In 2021, ARAG UK won the ‘MGA of the Year’ at the British Claims Awards and have won the ‘Insurance Provider of the Year’ at the Personal Injury Awards two years in a row. Also in 2021, ARAG UK were accredited as an outstanding employer, with a Two Star Best Companies award and rated in the Top 50 South West, Top 30 Financial Services and Top 100 Mid Size companies to work for in the UK.

ARAG in the UK today
ARAG continues to grow both its BTE and ATE portfolios with significant business wins. It is the preferred provider of legal expenses insurance for high net worth clients, whilst on the ATE side it continues to lead the market for all types of personal injury and contract cases.
